Appearances[edit | edit source]
Final Fantasy VI[edit | edit source]
Riot Blade is Terra's Desperation Attack, and as such she has a 1/16 chance to use it when performing the Attack command when critical. Riot Blade attacks one enemy with magic damage, and has 142 power.
Legacy Final Fantasy XIV[edit | edit source]
Delivers a ranged attack. Chance to decrease defense when executed from behind the target.
Description
At the initial release, Riot Blade was an ability learned by Gladiators at rank 30. It delivered a ranged attack with a chance to decrease defense when executed from behind the target. A second variant could be learned by Gladiators at rank 50 that unleashed a shockwave, increasing enemy enmity and dealing ranged slashing damage. The ability had the side effect of momentarily leaving the user under the Pacification status.
Final Fantasy XIV[edit | edit source]
Riot Blade is a Gladiator weaponskill available at level 10. It damages a single enemy with a potency of 110 and costs 60 TP to use. When combo linked from Fast Blade, Riot Blade deals damage with a potency of 240 and restores some MP of the user. In PvP, Riot Blade can also be used as a combo action with Fast Blade, but the potency is increased to 1000. The Oath Gauge will also increase by 5.
Final Fantasy Tactics S[edit | edit source]
Riot Blade was Terra's Special Ability.
Final Fantasy Dimensions II[edit | edit source]

Menu description of Terra's EX Burst
Riot Blade appears as Terra's EX Burst. She attacks the opponent with Blizzara, then charges energy into her arms. The player must rapidly tap and
to fill two power gauges within an unspecified time limit. Terra releases the concentrated power by spinning and firing four blades at the opponent. Failing to fill the gauges results in Terra firing fewer blades with a less dramatic execution.
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy[edit | edit source]
Riot Blade returns as Terra's EX Burst with unchanged effects.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT[edit | edit source]
Due to the absence of EX Bursts, Riot Blade is an HP Attack, learned by Terra (level 5). An blue oval shield will appear in front of Terra, and if an enemy hits the shield, they stagger and a blue, cross-shaped projectile hits the opponent, dealing HP damage.
Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia[edit | edit source]
Riot Blade is Terra Branford's EX Ability. It is learned from her Unique Weapon, Organyx (VI). It deals 3-Hits Magic BRV+HP damage to a single target, increasing based on the difference between her current and maximum HP values.
