Rio is a minor character in Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII-. She is a young child who resides in Kalm with her mother.
Vincent Valentine encounters Rio during Deepground's assault on Kalm. Deepground beasts attack her and her mother. They identify Rio as a "clean" individual whom they can sacrifice. One beast attacks her mother while another drags Rio into a transport container. Vincent defeats the beasts and unlocks the container, allowing Rio to reunite with her mother.
Rio has bob cut brown hair and carries a moogle doll. She wears a light purple cardigan over a dark lilac dress, with brown shoes and white socks. As Kalm was hosting a festival at the time of her appearance, Rio also wears leaf garlands around her neck and forehead. She wears armbands with pink ribbons and leaf garlands on her upper arms.
