Description
Right arm, also stylized as Right Arm when obtained as a prize on the Battle Square, is an offensive battle item in Final Fantasy VII that deals moderate non-elemental physical Shoot damage to all enemies with a base power of 1600. It is considered Long Range.

Mechanics[]
Using the Right arm does not take the user's stats into account in determining damage. The final damage is calculated as :

The damage is Shoot-elemental and ranged (does the same damage from the player's back row and can hit enemies in the back row).
Use[]
Much like the Grenade before it, the Right arm is a very powerful item, usually dealing around 1000–1500 damage to all enemies at no MP cost. Due to its long range nature, the player can stick characters in the back row and reduce physical damage on them while they do full damage with the Right arm. The biggest use for Right arm comes in the fight against the Demon Gate, as it does full damage to the boss without being reduced. Unless the player is able to hit elemental weaknesses with strong spells, the Right arm will be one of the player's strongest offensive options from North Corel until around Gaea's Cliff.
Right arm and other offensive items can also be good on the Battle Square if the player gets unfavorable handicaps, such as breaking their weapon.
