Damages undead.
Final Fantasy V description
Requiem (レクイエム, Rekuiemu?) is a recurring ability in the series. It often appears as an ability of the Sing skillset, though it has also appeared as an ability apart from the skillset. It generally deals damage to Undead enemies.
Appearances
Final Fantasy IV
Requiem is an ability of the Bardsong command, exclusive to Edward in the Game Boy Advance and PlayStation Portable ports while equipped with the Requiem Harp. It is used as part of Edward's Lunar Trial, and it is used to force the spirits during the trial to rest.
Final Fantasy V
Requiem is an ability of the Sing skillset, usable initially by the Bard job until the character learns the Sing ability. It inflicts massive damage and the Sap status effect to all undead enemies, but will do nothing to any other type of enemy.
Final Fantasy X
Damages all enemies.
Description
Requiem is Seymour's Overdrive. It can only be seen during the second battle against Sinspawn Gui, when Seymour is a playable guest.
Final Fantasy X-2
Requiem appears in the International and HD Remaster versions, usable by Seymour when he joins the party. It is a non-elemental physical attack that hits all enemies. The Gun Mage's Blue Bullet ability Cry in the Night, learned from an Oversoul Mega Tonberry, uses the same animation as Requiem.
Final Fantasy XI
Foe Requiem is a series of songs of the Light element available to Bards. Players have access to seven Foe Requiems in total, though at one time game data existed for Foe Requiem VIII. If the spell hits its target, Foe Requiem deals damage over time, akin to the Poison status.
Foe Requiem VII, for example, deals 7 HP damage every 3 seconds. Foe Requiem's potency can be increased through flutes that specifically enhance the song, and its accuracy and duration is affected by the player's Charisma as well as their Magic Accuracy.
Final Fantasy XIII
Requiem is an enemy ability that blasts a single target with darkness. It is used by Orphan (first encounter).
Final Fantasy XIV
Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift
Requiem is an ability of the Song skillset, exclusive to the Bard class, also exclusive to Hurdy. It is initially mastered on Hurdy, has a range of 4 tiles, and inflicts heavy non-elemental damage to Undead enemies. When used on an Undead that has 0 HP, it will exorcise them from the battlefield, removing them completely.
Final Fantasy Dimensions
Deals damage to all undead enemies.
