Rend Helm (ヘッドブレイク, Heddo Bureiku?), also known as Head Break and Helm Break, is a recurring ability in the series.

Rend Helm is an ability learned by the Knight class for 300 JP. When used, the user will destroy the target's equipped helmet and inflicts physical damage to the target. However, in the PSX version this ability does nothing to monsters but was fixed for later releases.
