A solid and durable staff experimentally produced in Hojo's laboratory.
Description
The Reinforced Staff is a weapon in Final Fantasy VII Remake for Aerith. It provides Aerith the ATB Ward ability, which costs two ATB charges and creates a ward around Aerith in which abilities used by her and her allies will partially refill their ATB gauge. The Reinforced Staff has unlocks that focus on improving Aerith's durability.
Obtained[]
The weapon is obtained from a chest at the beginning of "A Way Out" in Chapter 17, "Deliverance from Chaos". Before approaching the screen to continue the story, open the chest nearby to obtain the weapon.

Use[]
The Reinforced Staff has the second-highest Magic Attack increase of any of Aerith's weapons, and most of its abilities improve her durability. These include a 10% buff duration increase, increase in damage reduction while guarding, and increase to her self-healing while at low HP.
Compared to her other weapons, the Reinforced Staff has lower offense potential than Aerith's Silver Staff and Mythril Rod, which provide a tremendous MP regeneration and a higher magic attack bonus, respectively. Instead, it offers higher durability. The weapon slightly compares to the Guard Stick, though it lacks the Guard Stick's elemental resistance and its MP regeneration.
The Reinforced Staff is Aerith's best choice to balance her durability with offensive potential. However, it is outclassed by both Silver Staff and Mythril Rod in an offensive role overall, and both weapons are normally better choices.
