Refresh in Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift.

Refresh (リフレッシュ, Rifuresshu?) is a recurring White Magic spell in the Final Fantasy series. It often gradually restores MP to a target, serving as a MP parallel to the recurring Regen spell.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

Final Fantasy XI[edit | edit source]

Refresh is an enhancing White Magic spell.

It can be learned by Red Mages at level 41 and by Rune Fencers at level 62. The spell's scroll normally can only be obtained as a rare drop from the Taisaijin enemy, or as a possible reward from several battlefields. However, players who do not wish to go through the task of farming the scroll can also purchase it through the player Auction House.

Certain Trust party members such as Koru-Moru and the King of Hearts will cast Refresh on party members in battle.

When used, Refresh bestows the status of the same name that gradually restores the MP of characters it is cast on (+3/tick).

Final Fantasy XIV[edit | edit source]

Refresh L (ロゴス・リフレッシュ, Rogosu・Rifuresshu?, lit. Logos Refresh) is a Logos Action spell available to the Astrologian, Scholar, and White Mage jobs. When used, it gradually increases the amount of magia aether regenerated over time to the user and nearby party members.

During the entirety of the Stormblood expansion, the default Refresh ability was a level 36 role action spell for ranged DPS jobs. When used, it would grant the Refresh status to the user and nearby party members, gradually restoring MP for a period of 30 seconds. At the release of the Shadowbringers expansion, Refresh was removed as a role action.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift[edit | edit source]

Refresh is a White Mage spell that cures any status effect that cannot be cured with Esuna, including status-lowering effects and Doom.
