Final Fantasy Explorers description
Reflex (見切る or 見切り, Mikiri?, lit. All-Seeing), also known as Abandon, Evade+, Reflexes, and Anticipation, is a recurring ability in Final Fantasy games. It usually increases the chances of a character evading physical attacks.
Appearances[]
Final Fantasy VI[]
The Prayer Beads makes the wearer evades 50% of all blockable physical attacks. This ability has nothing to do with the 20% increase in the Evasion stat it provides.

Playable characters can not parry attacks by default. The only way for them to be able to parry is by equipping the Jade Collar accessory, which provides 30% parry to physical attacks. To bypass enemy parries, the player may opt to equip the Cameo Belt accessory. The accessory completely ignores the enemy's chance to block and parry attacks, making it especially useful against Judges. Enemies cannot parry attacks from guns, measures, and crossbows, although the attacks from the latter two can still miss under certain conditions.
Final Fantasy XIV[]
Anticipation is a Role Action learned by all tanks at Level 24. It increases the user's parry rate by 30% for 20 seconds. It has an instant cast time and an independent recast time of 60 seconds.
