Red Marshmallow (レッドマシュマロ, Reddomashumaro?), also known as Red Mousse, Jelly, Red, or Gummy, is a recurring enemy in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in Final Fantasy II.

The Red Mousse first appeared as an enemy in the series fought Mysidian Tower, Tropical Island, Cave of Mysidia, and at the southern point of Mysidia on the world map. They posses high defenses but are weak to Lightning-elemental attacks, and their physical attacks may inflict Poison onto the victim they attack.
Final Fantasy III[]
The Red Marshmallow is an enemy fought at the Molten Cave, oftentimes alongside with Balloons.
Final Fantasy IV[]
The Red Mousse is an enemy fought at the Underground Waterway. They posses high defenses but a weakness to Fire-elemental attacks.
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years[]
Red Mousse returns as an enemy commonly fought throughout the various tales in the game, oftentimes showing up in the Challenge Dungeons. It is the same as in its previous incarnation.

A marshmallow is a sugar-based confection that, in its modern form, typically consists of sugar, water and gelatin which is whipped to a spongy consistency, molded into small cylindrical pieces, and coated with corn starch.
