In the Fiend Tale endings, a notable Recoil was one of two brothers who possess the ability to convert what they ingest into gil. This talent got them captured by Bevellians who wished to profit off them, Recoil escaped while his brother was killed in the process. With the aid of the Gullwings, Recoil returned to Bevelle and exacted revenged with the aid of three Bombs in a kamikaze act that kills the four and injures others present.
