Reaver (アパンダ, Apanda?), also known as Apanda, is an enemy type in Final Fantasy Tactics. They are creatures capable of wielding vile magick that can inflict a variety of negative status effects. They are weak to the fire-element. Like all monsters, reavers have innate Counter.
Reavers are rare enemies, that are only fought in chapter 4, "In the Name of Love". They appear in two battles: at the Limberry Castle Gate alongside Celia and Lettie, and in the final floor of the Midlight's Deep secret dungeon alongside the Lucavi Serpentarius.
Like all monsters under the service of the Lucavi, reavers cannot be poached or recruited.
A similar creature to the reaver, called Byblos, aids Ramza and his allies as a guest during the fight against Elidibus. If Byblos survives the battle, it can be recruited to the party.
