The Reaver is an enemy that appears in Final Fantasy XIII-2. It is a large Feral Creature fought in the sunny Archylte Steppe.
Stats[]
Battle[]
When it receives enough damage, the Reaver stands on its hind legs and fully restores its HP, and becomes immune to Daze. In its bipedal state, it can use the Fira spell to deal heavy damage.
Strategy[]
The Tri-disaster paradigm (RAV/RAV/RAV) can rapidly increase the Reaver's chain gauge. Once it is staggered, Serah and Noel can switch to the Cerberus paradigm (COM/COM/COM) to deal as much damage to it as possible before the stagger ends. Casting Poison on the Reaver can make battling it easier.
Paradigm Pack[]
Compared to Narasimha, the Reaver can get slightly higher Strength but lacks any other argument to be taken into the team instead of the superior Narasimha.
