Description
Reagan Greens, also known as Regan Greens, is an item in Final Fantasy VII that is used for catching Chocobos and can heal a target for 100 HP. When fed to stabled Chocobos, Reagan Greens will boost their stats for racing and breeding.
By the time the player can get Reagan Greens, the player can also buy the superior Sylkis Greens, and so the player may as well get them instead as long as they have the funds.

Reagan Greens become available at the Battle Square after the Gold Saucer reopens in "Clash in the Deep Sea", but they are called "Regan Greens" in the menu.
Mechanics[]
Feeding Reagan Greens to stabled Chocobos increases their speed, stamina, and co-operation. When used during battle, Reagan Greens recover 100 HP in battle (this works on party members too). When used on an enemy Chocobo, they keep the fed Chocobo occupied in battle for 8 turns and reduce its chance to run from battle to 12.5%. Reagan Greens are thus some of the best greens for keeping enemy Chocobos occupied, however, the player can easily catch wild Chocobos without them running by using Sneak Attack paired with Odin or Exit (to use Remove).
Feeding a Chocobo greens can improve its stats, but only to the maximum of the Chocobo's potential. The only greens that raise Accel are Mimett Greens, and there is only a 25% chance for an increase. The only way to attain higher maximum Run and Dash is by breeding.
Reagan Greens yield the following stat bonuses when fed to a stabled Chocobo:
