The Rapier is the first sword the player can acquire. It provides 9 Attack, 5 Accuracy and 4 Critical, and can be equipped by the Warrior, Knight, Thief, Ninja, Red Mage and Red Wizard. It can be bought in Cornelia for 8 gil in the Easy version or 10 gil in Normal.

Final Fantasy XI

Rapier is a sword that provides 33 damage, 224 delay, and Parrying Skill +5. It deals 8.84 damage per second and accumulates 60 TP per hit. It can be equipped by level 64 Warrior, Red Mage, Paladin, Bard, Dragoon, Corsair, and Dancer. It can only be obtained through synthesis.
