Originally an inhabitant from the continent of Ardra, Rakshasa's origins were a mystery to all. What is known about her is that she was a blade-for-hire who chose her friends and enemies by the rewards they promised her.
As a warrior in an age of war, Rakshasa fought from the shadows in the service of numerous nations and her formidable powers earned her the respect and feat of both allies and enemies. One day, in the midst of one of the countless battles that broke out in that war-torn age, she disappeared, along with the great fortune she had made by her exploits in battle.
Leaving no hint as to her whereabouts, some believed she was a servant of the gods, who worked in secret to earn the coin needed to save her temple and fellow worshipers. Still, Rakshasa left behind a crystal with his memories, to be summoned by those with the power of visions.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
Rakshasa's job is listed as Spellblade. A 3-5★ Rare Summon, her battle roles are Hybrid Damage and Support. She has no natural status or element resistances. Equipment-wise, she can wield daggers, swords, rods, bows. As armor, Rakshasa can wear light shields, hats, clothes, light armor. She can also equip accessories. Her Trust Master reward is the Holy Blade ability materia.

Rakshasa are gigantic demons from Hindu and Buddhist mythology. They are powerful beings aligned with evil, who live on human flesh and spoiled food. The creatures make an important appearance in the epic of Ramayana.
