Etymology
This enemy's Japanese name is a calque of "thunderbird". The thunderbird is a legendary creature in certain North American indigenous peoples' history and culture. It is considered a "supernatural" bird of power and strength..
This enemy shares its Japanese name with the Thunderbird enemy from Final Fantasy VII. However, as an enemy whose name is "Thunderbird" (written in katakana) already appears in Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-, this enemy had its name simply romanized instead to avoid confusion.
