Raholl Ja is a non-playable character in Final Fantasy XIV. He is the grandfather of Ceetol Ja. Raholl Ja appears during the Physical Ranged DPS role quests in the Dawntrail expansion.
History[]
After someone posing as a merchant carrying exotic goods from foreign lands infiltrated the village and stole the Steelhog Vessel, Raholl Ja and his granddaughter Ceetol Ja were tasked with locating and recovering the treasure.They traveled to Tuliyollal, where they believed the perpetrator had boarded a ship and managed to escape. The journey to Tuliyollal alone had left Raholl Ja's body fatigued and unable to make the long journey by sea. Although Raholl Ja had insisted to Ceetol Ja not to make the crossing alone, she was determined to find the relic.[1]
Raholl Ja went to Xbalyav T've to find someone to replace him in the search and met representatives of other tribes who had also had their treasures stolen. When Rral Majun had started to explain the situation to the Warrior of Light, Raholl Ja interrupted the anxious conversation and explained the situation himself. Because the Warrior of Light had come from across the ocean, Raholl Ja believed that the Warrior of Light was the perfect person to help Ceetol Ja.[2] Raholl Ja said that the clues they had found indicated that the thief had gone to a place called Ala Mhigo, and that his granddaughter had already boarded a ship to Eorzea.[1]
When the Warrior of Light and Ceetol Ja returned to Tuliyollal, Raholl Ja was thrilled with the safe return of the Vessel, but even that is overshadowed by the joy of reuniting with his granddaughter after her dangerous mission abroad. Now that the artifact has been recovered, the villagers can resume hunting in the forest without fear of being devoured by monstrous creatures.[3]

Raholl Ja starts the sidequest 
To Steal a Steelhog, the first Physical Ranged DPS role quest in Dawntrail. He is located at Xbalyav Ty'e in Tuliyollal (X:13, Y:15).
