It will randomly cast the Flare spell in addition to its attack. The sword can be used by Terra, Locke, Edgar, and Celes.
Betting the Ragnarok in the Colosseum gives the Illumina as a reward.

Despite its fabled name, the Ragnarok is one of the weaker Knightswords in the game, with an Weapon Attack power of only 36. However, a Knightsword with a very similar name, the Nagrarok, is a very powerful weapon with a Weapon Attack power of 75. The Ragnarok teaches the Drop Weapon ability to the Paladin and the Defender jobs, while it teaches the Silence magic to the Templar.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates
