"Ragnarok" is a theme in Final Fantasy XIII representing Ragnarok, the incarnation of wrath. It is a haunting melody most prominently featuring a chorus. It shares part of its lyrics with "Fighting Fate".
Game appearances
Final Fantasy XIII
"Ragnarok" plays as the background theme of the cinematic sequence at the end of Chapter 2 where Pulse transforms the main characters into l'Cie; and when the party confronts Galenth Dysley. It is the thirteenth track of the first disc of the original soundtrack.
"Ragnarok's" lyrics describe Ragnarok's role to destroy Cocoon and summon the Maker. These lyrics are a prominent element in the game, even being cited by Barthandelus under the guise of Serah Farron at Oerba.
