Quaga (クエイガ, Kueiga?), also known as Quake 3 or Quake III, is a recurring Black Magic spell in the Final Fantasy series. It is a stronger version of Quake and Quakra.

Final Fantasy VII[edit | edit source]
Quake3 is the third spell on the Earth Materia with a base spell power equal to 4.375x the base magic damage. It takes 22,000 AP to learn and 68 MP to cast. It is also an enemy ability used by Gigas and Bizarro∙Sephiroth.

Quaga is an Elemental Magic Materia.

Final Fantasy XIV[edit | edit source]
Quake III is an enemy ability used by Nabriales during The Chrysalis trial. Nabriales will begin to use Quake III during the final phases of the battle. When used, the ability deals heavy damage that hits all party members on the field.
In addition, Ancient Quaga is an enemy ability used by Xande in the Syrcus Tower. The ability inflicts severe damage to all targets within a radius of 100 yalms. In order to avoid taking potentially fatal damage from the ability, players must be under the Levitate status. This ability is also used by the Xande Clone in the World of Darkness, which deals less damage and can be interrupted.
A different variant of Ancient Quaga is used by King Thordan during the final fight with him inside the The Singularity Reactor. When used, the floor will transform into rupturing earth and deal damage to all targets on the field.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates[edit | edit source]
Quaga stuns nearby enemies, preventing them from moving. It lasts longer than Quake. It is cast by piling Fira +1, Blizzara +1, Thundara +1, and Clearara +1.

Quaga stuns nearby enemies, preventing them from moving. It lasts longer than Quake. It can be cast by stacking two Fire and twoRaise spells.
Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light[edit | edit source]
Quaga is a high level Black Magic spell available for purchase in Guera for 5,000 gil after darkness has flooded the world. The spell costs 4 AP to cast. Quaga can only be used if the Quaga Tome item is in the player's inventory.
Bravely Default[edit | edit source]
Quaga is a level 5 Time Magic spell. It deals major earth damage to one target and can be group-cast. It costs 45 MP to use. It can be bought in Eternia for 3200 pg.
Bravely Second: End Layer[edit | edit source]
Quaga is a level 5 Time Magic for the Time Mage. It deals major earth damage to one target and can be group-cast. It costs 45 MP to use. It can be bought in Caldisla and Chompshire for 6400 pg.
