Quadra Magic Ultima glitch is a glitch in Final Fantasy VII where casting Ultima with Quadra Magic on a boss with many limbs may freeze the enemy, preventing the battle from being finished or left. The glitch occurs if the player casts Ultima with Quadra Magic while absorbing HP and/or MP at each time by linking the combos Ultima/Master Magic-Quadra Magic and Ultima-HP Absorb/MP Absorb on the same character.
The glitch occurs with the above combination for every boss who has at least one limb in addition to its body such as Bizarro∙Sephiroth, Emerald Weapon, Helletic Hojo, Proud Clod, and Carry Armor. It does not work against Jenova∙SYNTHESIS, due to her Tentacles being programmed in a different manner than the above enemies with limbs. Her Tentacles are clones of her body with the same Enemy ID, but made invisible, not separate limbs with different IDs.
