Qih Aliapoh is a non-player character in Final Fantasy XIV.

History[]

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker[]

Qih Aliapoh is encountered in the Studium, where she informs you that she has been looking for able workers capable of aiding the researchers.

Characteristics[]

Appearance[]

Qih is a young Miqo'te woman with blonde hair and amber eyes. She has dark skin and facial tattoos on the sides of her face. She wears a yellow Studium uniform, along with a Shiba dog earring.

Gameplay[]

Qih can be found in Old Sharlayan (X:3.2 Y: 8.9). Completing her quest The Faculty The Faculty unlocks Studium Deliveries, the main set of quests in Endwalker for Disciples of the Hand and Land.

Etymology[]

Aliapoh is a Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te surname, shared with the cousins Leih and Jihli Aliapoh, as well as the sister Zhloe and Chloe.

Qih's surname is a protracted reference to the Final Fantasy XI non-player character Mihli Aliapoh, a Mithra that acts as Waterserpent General and is available as an alter-ego party member through Trust Magic.

Trivia[]

  • It is heavily implied that Qih is the older sister of both Zhloe and Khloe in Idyllshire. Qih makes reference to the fact that her sister eats nothing but "rock-hard bread and wildflowers day in and day out"[1], a poor-eating habit similar to that Zhloe is well-known for. Additionally, her entry in Encyclopedia Eorzea says that like Zhloe and Khloe, her parents died in the Seventh Umbral Calamity, and she sends part of her earnings to "an orphanage run by a younger Aliapoh" (Zhloe runs the orphanage Memphina's Arms).
