Pumpkin Head is an enemy in Final Fantasy XII found in the Salikawood.
Its physical attack may inflict Confuse. Pumpkin Heads usually attack in groups of two or three and a few casts of Blizzara can easily defeat them all at once (especially with Glacial Staff). They are often found asleep. The Black Garb can be rarely stolen from them.
Eight of them are also fought in the Zodiac versions' Trial Mode at Stage 23 along with a Pumpkin Star.
Bestiary entry[]
Page 1: Observation[]
- Being a variety of mandragora exceptional among its kind for a high degree of intelligence, the most often cited evidence of this being the clothes, gloves, and boots it is known to wear. It lives in the manner of men, and exhibits a personality startlingly similar to ours. It is richly expressive, and fond of making hideous faces - this same playfulness illustrated by the pumpkin mask it wears upon its head.
