The Pugilist (格闘士, Kakutōshi?, lit. Grappler) is a recurring job in the Final Fantasy series. It is a lesser form of the recurring Monk job, focusing on utilizing combat stances to enhance the user's battle performance. The job's primary weapons are claws and gauntlets.

The Pugilist is a Discipline of War, focusing on hand-to-hand combat. Pugilists fight using claws, fists, and gauntlets. Important characters who use this class include the Scion of the Seventh Dawn member Lyse Hext, and Hamon Holyfist.

Once the player's Pugilist class reaches level 30, the player can unlock its job form, the Monk.
