Protera is a Defensive spell from Final Fantasy Type-0. It is a group-wide version of the default Protect spell.

Despite sharing the same name with the Protera (プロテア, Purotea?, lit. Protea) spell from the original Final Fantasy in the English, the Protera of Final Fantasy Type-0 is known as Protera (プロテラ, Purotera?) in Japanese.

Mechanics
