Protective Boots is an accessory in Final Fantasy VII Remake that makes the wearer immune to 
Slow and 
Stop. Not sold in shops, the boots sell for 2,500 gil.

Protective boots is a reward for the "Weapons on a Rampage" Odd Job in Chapter 8, "Budding Bodyguard", taking place in the Sector 5 Slums. Cloud Strife and Aerith Gainsborough talk to a scared man who has seen Shinra weapons in the scrapyard, and the two head to defeat the Mark II Monodrives.

Protective boots are also found in a treasure during "Fateful Decisions", in the sewers in Chapter 14, "In Search of Hope". After defeating the Mischievous Shoat, a cutscene commences. Following this, the party enters the door ahead and follows Leslie down a corridor. There is a lever for "Corneo's Secret Stash", and a treasure chest for the boots.

The accessory simply makes the wearer immune to Slow and Stop. Other ways to immunize against them are 
Resist and 
Warding Materia. Immunizing against these statuses can be useful to avoid needing to waste ATB for healing or using Haste.
