The prologue, also named Embrace Your Dreams,[note 1] is the first event in Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- before the full chapters. The chapter comprises the opening events in which Zack Fair, a SOLDIER 2nd Class training under Angeal Hewley, battles Wutai troops disguised as Shinra Electric Power Company infantrymen. The boss of the chapter is Behemoth.

Zack is a SOLDIER 2nd Class under Angeal's mentorship with a dream of becoming a hero. During a training simulation in the SOLDIER training room in Shinra HQ, Zack defeats all the Wutai soldiers disguised as Shinra Infantrymen but is easily defeated by a simulated Sephiroth, forcing Angeal to abort the session. Soonafter, Angeal leaves the SOLDIER training room and tells Zack, "Embrace your dreams, to be a hero, you need to have dreams, and honor."
Walkthrough[]
Zack has access to Firaga, Thundaga, Blizzaga, and Assault Twister+ in the Prologue. The spells cost 3 MP instead of their usual 32, and the latter costs 4 AP instead of 16.
