Precision defense focus materia is a 
Complete Materia in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. It improves the user's ability to parry attacks, by blocking as soon as an attack hits to cause the attack to deal no damage.

A precision defense focus materia is found in chapter 1, "Fall of a Hero", on Mt. Nibel's Northern Ridge: after the fight against the zu, on the the top of the Steel Platform. However, nothing carries from chapter 1 to chapter 2.
Precision defense focus materia can be purchased from shops that sell materia for 300 gil apiece.
A precision defense focus materia can also be found on the island in the northeastern bay of the Grasslands Region. The island is northeast of Field Intel 1 and west of Phenomenon Intel 1. It is fastest to swim there on chocoboback.

Precision defense materia improves the chance the wearer has of precision defense, meaning blocking attacks entirely, based on when they start guarding. At full level, it can also block binding attacks with perfect timing, making it even more of a useful equip. Precision defense can help aid players who may struggle with block timings, and it can also help those party members not currently controlled by the player to block more damage, as the AI-controlled party members more easily "know" when the enemy's attack is going to land, and also play defensively by default.
Precision defense focus is beneficial on every party member, as its ability to avoid damage can be invaluable. The only priority that comes into play will be how much mileage a party member will gain from the materia based on their playstyle. Cloud and Red XIII guard often for their counterattacks and would be prime candidates, while Aerith or Barret benefit also due to their low mobility. Though Tifa or Yuffie more often use mobility and dodging to avoid attacks, they still gain a great advantage when they can more easily block attacks completely, though Yuffie also has Brumal Form for avoiding damage. As such, precision defense materia can be equipped on anyone with a materia slot available.
The materia also works alongside Steadfast Block Materia, as though precision defense will make it more likely that guarding could avoid damage entirely, steadfast block will still build ATB when blocking. Precision defense focus materia can be especially good on Cloud when he is using Auto-Unique Ability Materia to help with his auto-countering with Punisher Mode.
