Power Armlet is an accessory in Final Fantasy XII that makes the wearer immune to Stop, and provides a small boost to the wearer's Strength.

Obtain[]

Original[]

In the original PlayStation 2 versions, the Power Armlet is sold for 5,200 gil in Old Archades (after obtaining the Treaty-Blade) and in Balfonheim Port. It is found in a treasure in Great Crystal's Sirhru Phullam Pratii'vaa (always appears, 70% chance for gil, 50% chance the item treasure is Power Armlet without the Diamond Armlet Map 46 The Great Crystal), and rarely drops from the Wary Wolf.

Zodiac[]

In the updated Zodiac versions, the Power Armlet is sold for 5,200 gil in Phon Coast, Balfonheim Port, and the "secret shop" in the Necrohol of Nabudis.

It is found in a treasure in Barheim Passage's West Annex (90% chance to appear, 50% chance for gil, 50% chance the item treasure is a Power Armlet without the Diamond Armlet), Henne Mines' Crossover C (75% chance to appear, 50% chance for gil, 50% chance the item treasure is a Power Armlet without the Diamond Armlet), Tchita Uplands' Fields of Eternity (40% chance to appear, 70% chance for gil, 50% chance the item treasure is a Power Armlet without the Diamond Armlet), Feywood's Ice Field of Clearsight (75% chance to appear, 50% chance for gil, 50% chance the item treasure is a Power Armlet without the Diamond Armlet), and Pharos - First Ascent's Wellspring Ravel - 3rd Flight (80% chance to appear, 40% chance for gil, 50% chance the item treasure is a Power Armlet without the Diamond Armlet), as well as in Trial Mode stages 60 and 87 with the Diamond Armlet equipped.

It still rarely drops from the Wary Wolf, and now can also be stolen from the Mindflayer (10%) in Trial Mode Stage 17, and from Diabolos (55%) in Trial Mode Stage 72.

Use[]

Power Armlet makes the wearer immune to Stop, which makes the afflicted unable to take action or move. An alternative would be to set up gambits for Chronos Tear or Dispel, but the danger with Stop is that the afflicted cannot heal themselves. Ribbons also make the Power Armlet redundant as they protect against all status ailments, but are also available late into the game.

Power Armlet could be useful against enemies that use stopping attacks, like some of the tougher wyrms.
