The Poison Rod (ポイズンロッド, Poizun Roddo?) is a recurring rod in the Final Fantasy series. It is often a mid-ranked rod that is either Poison-elemental or casts the Poison spell when attacking with it or using it as an item.

Description

The Poison Rod is a high-ranked rod, providing 29 Attack, 32 Accuracy, is Poison-elemental, increases the power of Poison-elemental attacks by 50%, and can cast Bio when used as an item. It can be bought for 1500 gil at Quelb and stolen from Black Warlock.

Final Fantasy VI[]

Description

The Poison Rod is a mid-ranked rod that has an attack power of 86, is Poison Poison-elemental, casts Poison when used as an item and then breaks, and also casts Poison randomly when attacking with it successfully. It can be bought for 1500 gil at Narshe in the World of Balance, stolen from Twinscythe and Lich, or dropped from Twinscythe. Only Strago, Gogo, and Relm can equip it.

Final Fantasy Tactics[]

The Poison Rod is a mid-ranked rod that provides 3 Attack, 20% Weapon Defense, and can inflict Poison on its target. It can be bought for 500 gil at an Outfitter from Chapter 2 onwards, and can also be obtained at Zeirchele Falls.

Final Fantasy Dimensions[]

The Poison Rod is a mid-level rod providing 31 attack power, +7 Intelligence, and casts Poison when used as an item.

Pictlogica Final Fantasy[]

Poison Rod is a rarity 5 rod that provides a minimum of 44 Attack and 54 Magic, and a maximum of 69 Attack and 80 Magic. It can be upgraded to rarity 7 where it provides a minimum of 72 Attack and 90 Magic, a maximum of 126 Attack and 144 Magic, and Limit Break +1000.
