Final Fantasy IV description

Poison Arrow (ポイズンアロー or 毒矢 or どくのや, Doku Ya?, lit. Poisonous Arrow), also known as Poison, is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. It inflicts the Poison status to one target, but can only be used by a character equipped with a bow.

Final Fantasy III[]

Poison Arrow is a high-ranked arrow available only in the 3D remakes, bought for 200 gil on the Invincible. It provides 20 Attack, inflicts Poison when attacking with it, and can only be used by the Onion Knight and Ranger classes.

Final Fantasy IV[]

Poison Arrow is a mid-ranked arrow that provides 30 Attack and a 30% chance of inflicting Poison. It can be bought for 70 gil at Cave of Eblan or dropped from Hydra, Ettin Snake, Cave Naga, Nagaraja, and Naga.

Final Fantasy IV -Interlude-[]

Poison Arrow is a high-ranked arrow, providing 25 Attack and 30% chance of inflicting Poison. It can be bought for 70 gil from the dwarf on the Falcon or dropped from Naga.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years[]

Poison Arrow is a mid-ranked arrow, providing 30 Attack and has a 30% chance of inflicting Poison. It can be equipped by Cecil, Ceodore, Cid, Rosa, Rydia, Palom, Porom, Edward, Luca, Leonora, Izayoi, and Harley. It can be dropped from Hydra, Ettin Snake, Naga, Mizuichi, Nagaraja, and Malboro.

Final Fantasy XI[]

Poison Arrow is an archery weapon that provides 16 damage, 120 delay, and an additional Poison effect. It deals 8 damage per second and accumulates 45 TP per hit. It can be equipped by level 19 Warrior, Red Mage, Thief, Paladin, Dark Knight, Beastmaster, Ranger, Samurai, and Ninja. It can only be obtained through synthesis.

Arrow poisons are used to poison arrow heads or darts for the purposes of hunting and warfare.
