Battle
The Platinum Toad can cast Toad, Protect and Reflect (Ability); it may also use Retreat, ending the battle and regaining all of its lost health as a result.
Strategy
Using Rydia's summons can easily defeat it, although the easiest way by far to kill it is to use Tornado.
Etymology
Platinum is a chemical element with the chemical symbol Pt and an atomic number of 78. Its name is derived from the Spanish term platina, which is literally translated into "little silver".
