Description

Platinum Ingot is a treasure sold for 10,000 gil and used as a catalyst for elemancy, adding Freecast effect. It can be found at the top of a Duscae arch (added in patch 1.06); the Vesperpool (Map), Ch.15: Greyshire Glacial Grotto Menace (Level 20), Ch.15: Balouve Mines Menace (Level 16 middle), Ch.15: Steyliff Grove Menace (Level 56), and Ch.15: Costlemark Tower Menace (Level 40). Gladiolus may randomly find it when his Survival level is maxed out.

Etymology[]

Platinum is a chemical element with the chemical symbol Pt and an atomic number of 78. Its name is derived from the Spanish term platina, which is literally translated into "little silver".
