A planesgorger (次元喰い, Jigen Kui?, lit. Dimensional Eater), also known as Shinryu's larvae, is a monster introduced in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT as a story element, but couldn't be encountered as an enemy until Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia.
They are manifestations of the dragon Shinryu, who is responsible for the eternal conflict of the gods.

Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia[]

One planesgorger appears as the final boss of the Interlude, it is wrapping the crystal with its body; however, it cannot be seen until the clash between the forces of Materia and Spiritus at the Sanctum of the Crystal. While both forces confront each other, the crystal starts shining, revealing the presence of the golden draconic vessel around it and immediately this being attacks both heroes and antagonists.
