"Being an ichthon favoring winds of high salinity, using its large fins to ply the air as if 'twere water. The sharply pointed bone on its head, like to a spear, is ideally suited for goring prey from the sky, and fending off the attacks of the pyrolisk. Its sharp wedge-shaped teeth are impelled by a muscular lower jaw, so well-developed that it dwarfs the upper, contributing to the creature's intimidating appearance."
