BattleEdit

Phalaris is a large bovine that is weak to greatswords. It is not possible to defend against phalaris's hoof stomps, and it can roll on its back, crushing everything on its way. It charge attack with its horns lowered can be blocked and parried.

StrategyEdit

The player should roll constantly to try and avoid its hoof attacks and attack its hind legs, hopefully triggering link-strikes with allies (who can equip Friendship Bands, if available). Prompto's Piercer Technique is effective in reducing its armor. The player can also character-swap to Prompto to attack from afar. The player can also play as Noctis and use the Star of the Rogue while staying out of the bovine's range. The player can attack its hind legs with a greatsword (the Iron Duke obtained from Randolph's previous quest works well) and then dodge away to avoid damage. The player can point-warp to the tower to get out of the phalaris's attack range.
