Phalanx II is a Merit ability from Final Fantasy XI. It is a Enhancing Magic spell, and can only be learned by players using a level 75 Red Mage. When cast, the targeted party member will have increased damage resistance. The spell may be recast every 10 seconds for 42 MP. The effects last for a duration of 2 minutes, with further merit upgrades increasing both the effectiveness and duration of the spell.
