History[]

Apyaahi observed various people around the world and wrote an invitation to five individuals to join her villainous organization, arranging the meeting at the Xbalyav T've in Tuliyollal. The guests were: Leophyne from Ishgard, Virazahn from Radz-at-Han, Samidare from Doma, Ellerete from Eorzea, Chalteaufite from Ala Mhigo. With everyone reunited, Apyaahi explained that the Passage of the Unbound was a secret organization with the intention of spreading discord throughout the world. Apyaahi persuades the guests to join her, explaining that with the help of Tural's sacred relics they would have the power they needed to achieve their goal. With the organization founded, Apyaahi instructs each member on how to infiltrate the clans throughout Tural and steal their respective treasures.[1]

Each member managed to steal the treasures: Leophyne the Cradle of the Sleepless, Virazahn The Perch of the Apex, Samidare the Dreamweave Totem, Ellerete the Heartsting and Chalteaufite the Steelhog Totem. Each member then took the artifact to their respective homeland and began to cause discord among the regions with the help of the treasures. However, most of them began to act according to their own whims, not truly caring about the Apyaahi's goal.

The Warrior of Light was informed about the Passage of the Unbound and the thefts of the clans respective treasures. They took it upon themselves to aid those, who were sent to recover them.

In Ishgard, Leophyne began to use the Cradle of the Sleepless to humiliate the Temple Knights and ruin their reputation, as revenge for having been expulsed from the Temple Knights for gambling. Her ultimate intention was to ruin peace talks between Ishgard and Zundu. But thanks to the efforts of the Warrior of Light and Tentoawa, Leophyne was defeated and the Cradle recovered.

In Radz-at-Han, Virazahn, who was enamored of heroes, attempted to use the Perch of the Apex to make himself as one. He used alchemy to spawn seedkins to artificially create a fiend problem around Thavnair, that he would then solve. With the Perch, he conjured rocks to appear out of nowhere and let those rocks deal with the fiends. While his acts were seen as heroic among Thavnair's youth, the Radiant Host and the more elderly were not convinced, since his acts had caused people to get hurt, and he didn't even stop to aid them. Eventually, the Warrior of Light and Tepeke, daughter of the Perch's guardian, exposed him as a fraud, defeated him and recovered the Apex.

In Far East, Samidare began to use the Dreamweave Totem to pose as different individuals to sow discord among people. He was being tracked by a Shetona hunter named Kuiyki, who received the aid of the Warrior of Light. He first tried to sow discord among the people of Kugane, but he was exposed. Next, he tried to imitate Rasho Mastbreaker to spur the Confederacy to assault the Ruby Price and break the pact between the Confederacy and Hingashi. Again, he was exposed by Kuiyki and the Warrior of Light. Next, he tried to imitate Lord Hien of Doma, but his ruse was exposed by Yugiri Mistwalker. Then he imitated the Warrior of Light in order to get the Doman armies to believe the Xaela tribes of Azim Steppe were planning to invade Doma. He was again exposed by the real Warrior. He then tried to get rid of the Warrior and Kuiyki, but this failed as well. His last attempt was to disguise himself as Sadu Dotharl and woo Magnai Oronir to raise the Xaela against Doma. The Warrior of Light, who was still khagan of the Steppe, exposed him, and he was finally defeated by Kuiyki. He was taken captive by Magnai, and Kuiyki took the Dreamweave Totem back to where it belongs.

In Limsa Lominsa, Ellerete began to use the Heartsting to cause pranks by mildly poisoning food and potions. Her main motivation was to get laughs, Apyaahi's goals be damned. She took this to a step further, when she began to learn more about the Heartsting. She attempted to poison the waters at Camp Bronze Lake, but only managed to infuse them with a toxin that caused its victim to begin laughing hysterically. Her ultimatum was to poison La Noscea's main water source at Brayflox's Longstop to poison the entirety of Vylbrand. Her goal was thwarted by Loashkana and the Warrior of Light and their healing magicks.

In Ala Mhigo, Chalteaufite formed a gang in order to free the people of Ala Mhigo from the oppression of the wealthy. He used the Steelhog Totem to empower his followers with impervious barriers that could be exloded with shockwaves. However, many within the gang were coaxed into serving him through false pretensies, and they opted to leave and stop him, when the Warrior of Light and Ceetol Ja began to track him. Chalteaufite's goal was to smuggle a number of Garlean magitek into Ala Mhigo and take over the palace. But thanks to the efforts of those, who abandoned him, the Warrior of Light and Ceetol Ja, his scheme was foiled and the Steelhog Totem was recovered.
