Deal more damage in joint attacks!

In-game description.

Party Host is a crown in Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light obtained by defeating Rolan in Spelvia.

The Party Host's special ability allows party members to deal more damage during joint attacks. The crown is the perfect support job since its abilities focus on psyching up the party to use joint attacks to deal critical damage. The Party Host's strongest ability, Pot Luck, has random results, which include healing the party or killing them all. The ability is a desperation move and should be used as last effort. The Party Host is said to be stronger the more party members the player has.[1]

The Party Host has low stat multipliers and is only proficient with harps, which are poor for striking. It has a low proficiency in attack and status magic, but is decently proficient in defense and healing magic. The job's special armor, Party Host Wear, provides a 5% boost to the user's Intellect, Spirit, Accuracy, and Magic Accuracy.

Allusion[]

The job is called "Gambler" in Japanese. Party Host meant to serve as an homage to the Gadabout/Gambler/Jester job of Dragon Quest, which shares the same Japanese name and the same "entertainer" inspired outfits. The 4 Heroes of Light has many allusions to Dragon Quest, such as a Magic Key that opens locked doors and metal enemies that yield amazing rewards but are elusive and hard to defeat.
