Parthenope is an enemy in Final Fantasy V. She frequently appears with Cherie and Lemure, making them quite the terrible trio due to their incessant use of status-inflicting moves.

Parthenope uses Entice, which confuses a party member. Reverse Polarity will switch the rows of the player's party members randomly, and the Blue Magic spell Roulette will be used frequently to cause random Instant Death.
Coral Rings, useful in the fight against Leviathan, can be stolen from these enemies. They are the first readily available source of the dangerous Blue Magic spell Roulette.

Parthenope is one of the Sirens in Greek mythology. Her name means "Maiden-voiced".
The Japanese name, Komusa Bera, may be a reference to Vera Komissarzhevskaya, one of the great actresses of Russia.
