Otto is a character in Final Fantasy XVI. He is a resident of Cid's Hideaway and the chief steward. He manages the hideaway as an overseer and rarely takes part in direct combat or leaves the hideaway for missions. Otto is the one who initially inspired Cidolfus Telamon to start their group's Bearer-liberation movement.

In LOGOS: The World of Final Fantasy XVI , Otto's favorite sea shanty, composed and lyrics written by Oli Chance, was supposed to be Otto's section of the book, but was cut due to limiting page space.[2]
