Osafune-ffxii

Osafune as it appears in Final Fantasy XII.

The problem with iron helms is the weight and the heat—and the fact that this sword cuts right through them.

Osafune (備前長船, Bizen Osafune?), also known as Bizen's Pride and Bizen Boat, is a recurring weapon in the series. It is often a low-ranked katana.

All katana have 2.39s charge, and 1.2s action time, making them average what it comes to attacking speed. It can be bought from Jahara, Mt Bur-Omisace, and Rabanastre for 4,800 gil.

In the International Zodiac Job System version, only the Mononofu class may equip the Osafune, by unlocking the Katana 1 license for 35 LP.
