Ore (原石, Genseki?, lit. Gemstone) is a recurring item in the Final Fantasy series.

The Ore is an item that increases the success rate of Zantetsuken equal to No. of Ores / 2, powers up Odin's Sword power equal to 145 - No. of Ore, and when used as an item during battle, it restores HP equal to the total stock of Ore x4.

It can be dropped from Bandersnatch, Carve Spider, Cave Imp, Clipper, Crawler, Dragonfly, Garuda, Gigan Toad (B), Land Worm, Lizard Man, Malboro, Shell Dragon (B), stolen from Abomination, Agares, Anemone, Armodullahan, Armstrong, Axe Beak, Bomb, Carve Spider, Cerberus, Core, Clipper, Dendrobium, Feather Circle, Flan, Garuda, Ghost, Gigan Toad (A), Goblin Mage, Grenade, Griffin, Grimlock Red, Hedgehog Pie, Jabberwock, Land Worm, Lamia, Lich (Crystal), Lizard Man, Malboro, Mistodon (A), Mistodon (B), Nymph, Plant Spider, Python, Sand Scorpion, Skeleton, Trick Sparrow, Troll, Type B, Wraith (Blue), Wraith (Red), Yan, Yeti, Zaghnol, Zemzelett, and Zuu, found at Lindblum (disc 1), Cleyra, and Madain Sari, excavated from Fossil Roo, through Eiko's White Magic spell Jewel which can be used repeatedly, or from Chocobo Hot and Cold by exchanging 250 point from Mene.

When the player brings Kupo Nuts to Moguta in Gizamaluke's Grotto, they sometimes get an Ore for their effort.

Ore is used for various synthesis outcomes, commonly to make other jewels. Ores can be used in Daguerreo's water shrine to convert into Aquamarines.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy[]

Ore is a B Rank accessory that provides Luck +4. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 10 gil and Dusty Elixir x3, or from the Moogle Shop during Confessions of the Creator at the Elven Snowfields on Shinryu Isles for 50 KP.

An ore is a type of rock that contains sufficient minerals with important elements including metals that can be economically extracted from the rock. The ores are extracted from the earth through mining; they are then refined (often via smelting) to extract the valuable element, or elements.
