Stats[edit | edit source]
Battle[edit | edit source]
Omega is a powerful adversary, as it can inflict Itchy with its normal attack, and hit the entire party with its powerful Judgment attack. It will counter any attack the party makes with the same move. In Oversoul, it has access to Flare.
Strategy[edit | edit source]
It is advisable to set up Protect at the start of the fight and hit Omega with the best attacks each party member is capable of using.
Excalibur, Black Sky, Supernova, and the like are ideal for tackling Omega Weapon. Its Oversoul form's Flare attack can be countered by using Reflect. Omega becomes much easier to defeat when in Oversoul form.
Omega Weapon is the final opponent of the Fiend portal tournament and has access to Kill Attack (damages a character based on their max HP; caps at 9,999 damage). If the player defeats it, they get a choice to either recruit Ultima Weapon or Omega Weapon. If they choose Omega Weapon, it will join the party and the Fiend portal becomes the Fiend World Cup, where it appears as a normal opponent. It usually beats any computer-controlled enemies, although it has a chance of losing to Aranea, Mega Tonberry, and Almighty Shinra (always).
Upon completing Omega Weapon's storyline, Almighty Shinra is created and the Fiend World Cup becomes Almighty Shinra Cup. Even after recruiting and releasing Almighty Shinra, the player can reopen Almighty Shinra Cup by viewing Omega Weapon's ending in the Creature Creator.
Omega Weapon comes with Ailment Def., Total Limit Break, Tetra Eater, Attack, and Punishment, and must survive a powerful attack to learn Supernova.
