Oldoa
Oldoa is a playable supporting character in War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Known as the Purgatorial Demoness, she serves as the strategist for the Fennes army, being one of its generals and part of the royal guard of King Muraga Fennes, whom she serves with idolatry.
Profile[]
Appearance[]
Oldoa is a tan-skinned muscular woman with long messy blue hair and purple eyes. She dresses in a revealing fashion, donning a set of purple clothes with long sleeves with white wrists. She covers her chest with white layers tied via golden strings around her exposed thighs and connecting to her signature Oldoan Apron, which has a white front with the symbol of Fennes in gold and a purple underside.
For gear, Oldoa wears a piece of spiked gold armor with large, spiked shoulder protectors adorned with purple gems, golden gloves, and a pair of golden boots. In her artwork, she wields an irregularly shaped greatsword with a spherical spiked hilt, which can also be seen in the tip of the handle.
Personality[]
Oldoa is a proud individual with a noisy disposition and a penchant for flair, dressing extravagantly and regularly trying to show off with dramatic entrances and exaggerated mannerisms. While in combat, she engages in loud expressions, energetically yelling her aggression while overstating her pain when being attacked.
Although initially coming off as arrogant and aggrandizing her strength, Oldoa is a talented strategist, being one of the few brains in a nation known for little more than brawn and brutality. She provides intelligence to the operations of Fennes and her tactical skill is shown when she begged for mercy and feigned weakness to stall for time while guiding her reinforcements to her rescue. She is effective at overseeing slave camps.
Oldoa is fanatically loyal to Muraga, with whom she shares a distant family connection, idolizing his strength and doing her utmost to serve him. Muraga trusts Oldoa, making her one of his generals and part of his royal guard. Oldoa hides warmer feelings for Muraga, which she is ultimately unable to convey due to his own unrequited feelings for Melnia,. Oldoa detests Sadali Crysthea due to how easily he orders Muraga as he pleases.
She grew incredibly distressed when Muraga mutated into a monster, knowing he had lost his humanity and was unable to bring herself to try to stop him despite it being the morally right thing to do, being ready to even sacrifice herself if necessary. As Muraga's life neared its end, she begged to allow him to die with dignity and pretended to be Melnia to give him closure and send him off in peace, weeping inconsolably at his death. She grew vengeful of Melnia and sought to terminate her for desecrating Muraga's memory, even forging an alliance with Leonis for that purpose, bearing no ill will towards Mont Leonis who displayed lenience.
Oldoa shares a complicated bond with her right-hand woman, Kilphe, who was forced into servitude for Fennes due to her brother being taken hostage. Although the boy was killed, Oldoa blamed herself over being unable to keep him alive, and was incapable of sharing the truth with Kilphe, instead trying to make up by paying respects and delivering flowers to his corpse every day. Otherwise the two share a friendly relationship, as Kilphe is amused over Oldoa's fascination with cats, which are terrified of her imposing figure, much to her distress. Oldoa feels upset at Kilphe's forced servitude and is willing to pay with her own life to avenge for her misery.
Oldoa is a complex person who is benevolent and honorable at heart and loyal to those close to her. Although she claims to not lie, she is frequently called out on her previous deceptions, something she tries to dismiss as being an entirely different matter.

- Unreaching Affection

Unreaching Affection.
It is a little known fact that Oldoa of Muraga's royal guard has an unmatched affinity for cute animals. This affinity, however, fails to reach the objects of her affection more often than not. Though she adores them enough to stop marching while on duty if they are spotted on the wayside, animals take her hair and armor as a threat and run away frightened.
Kilphe, watching this unfold nearby, is aware of why these animals fear Oldoa, but she says nothing. It would appear that seeing Oldoa despair over being rejected by her beloved animals brings a smile to her lips.Vision card description

"Lord Muraga, those weird louts are here again."
"Foolish demons, we'll send 'em crawling back to hell! To arms, Oldoa!"
"Yes, Your Fierceness!"
In some regions, stemming from a fear of monsters with unique traits such as commanding spirits or draining the blood of their victims to gain power, there is a long-standing custom of donning the appearance of such monsters at festivals in the hope of being bestowed with beyond-human power.
In recent years, however, during a certain season in cities where this custom no longer thrives, there are reports of demons dressed in curious attire parading through the streets as if they own them, reveling all night long and causing general chaos.
It is said that people in the regions that still practice the old customs are now called upon to head to the cities and scare the demons back into hiding.Vision card description
