Old (オールド, Ourudo?) is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series.

Old, bought in Moore for 6,000 gil, is a level 5 Time Magic spell that costs 4 MP to cast. It bestows the Aging ailment that weakens the afflicted over time. Bone Mail, Angel Ring, and Ribbon immunize to Aging. The player may also utilize Old by catching and releasing a Metamorph or Jackanapes from Castle Exdeath. The stats of those inflicted are gradually reduced over time. The effect can be removed, but the lost stats are not restored until the end of battle or by restarting the battle with Return.
