The Ogre is an enemy in the original Final Fantasy. It is a strong physical enemy that appears in Giant's Cave and Cavern of Earth, as well as around Melmond and Elfheim in the grasslands and forests. It often appears with Gigas Worms, a typical battle is usually two Ogres and a group of these.
When first met, they are not hard to defeat, but have high HP. Once mastered, they give plenty of Experience Points and, like most "giant-kin" in Final Fantasy, give a lot of gil, making them perfect targets for players who plan on leveling up.
