The '''Ogre''' is an enemy in the original ''[[Final Fantasy]]''. It is a strong physical enemy that appears in [[Giant's Cave]] and [[Cavern of Earth]], as well as around [[Melmond]] and [[Elfheim]] in the grasslands and forests. It often appears with [[Gigas Worm (Final Fantasy)|Gigas Worms]], a typical battle is usually two Ogres and a group of these.

When first met, they are not hard to defeat, but have high [[HP (stat)|HP]]. Once mastered, they give plenty of [[Experience Points]] and, like most "giant-kin" in ''Final Fantasy'', give a lot of [[gil]], making them perfect targets for players who plan on [[Level grinding|leveling up]].
