Official Ball (オフィシャルボール, Ofisharu Bōru?) is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series, originating in Final Fantasy X as the signature ball for the Spiran sport blitzball. The Official Ball is Wakka's initial weapon, but has also been used by Tidus in his spin-off appearances. It is the standard issue blitzball, a white and blue stripe pattern latex or rubbery skin adorned ball with underlying large protruding round bumps beneath its surface with a yellow-colored "BLITZBALL" written in Spiran alphabet across it.

Final Fantasy X[]
The Official Ball is Wakka's initial weapon and comes with one empty ability slot. Like all balls in the games, the Official Ball is a ranged weapon, allowing Wakka to attack enemies out of range, like Sin's Fin.
As the name suggests, the Official Ball is a standard ball used in blitzball matches and training. A blitzball also appears in some of Tidus's abilities.
Dissidia Final Fantasy (2008)[]
The Official Ball is a weapon exclusive to Tidus. It can be equipped at level 1, reduces starting Bravery by 11 points and raises Attack by 5 points. It can be found in a chest in Destiny Odyssey X-1.
The Official Ball appears when Tidus executes Wither Shot (ground and midair variations), Sphere Shot, Jecht Shot, and Blitz Ace.
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy[]
The Official Ball is a weapon exclusive to Tidus. It can be equipped at level 1, reduces starting Bravery by 22 points and Defense by 2 points, and raises Attack by 24 points. It can be found in Light to All – Chapter 5 or by trading 9,300 gil, Juji Shuriken, Chocobo Chick Powder, and Vision's Desire x5 at a shop.
The Official Ball is incorporated into Sphere Shot, Wither Shot, Jecht Shot, and Blitz Ace.
Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia[]
Official Ball (X) is a 4★ Throwing for Wakka that enables access to the ability HP +340. It provides 34 HP, 17 DEF, 47-77 iBRV, 798-1488 mBRV, 261-486 ATK, and adds 10-20 CP.
