Oblivion (カオティック・D, Kaotikku D?, lit. Chaotic Dimension) is a recurring ability in the series. It is the ultimate ability of Anima, which deals multiple hits of high non-elemental damage to all enemies.

Final Fantasy X[edit | edit source]
Oblivion is the Overdrive of Anima in both her boss fight and her summonable version, and is also used by Dark Anima in the International and HD versions. Oblivion deals major non-elemental damage to all enemies, originally being only one hit in the original version, but later dealt 16 hits in the International, PAL, and HD versions, allowing it to break upwards to 1,599,984 damage. When used as a boss, Oblivion has a power of 75 in the original version, but a power of 4 in the International/PAL version during the fight at Macalania Temple, and at Remiem Temple it has a power of 85 (6 in the International/PAL version). When used by Dark Anima, it has a power of 2, deals between 5,080 and 5,736 damage per hit for a total of 81,820 ~ 91,776 damage with an additional MP damage based on roughly 10% of the damage dealt per hit, can inflict strong Delay on all allies, ignores Heavy/Tough status, and removes Haste, NulFire, NulFrost, NulShock, NulTide, Protect, Reflect, Regen, and Shell.
